Payment Policy

At Andaman Discover, we strive to offer a seamless booking experience and transparent payment process for all our guests. Please read the following policies carefully before confirming your booking.

Booking Confirmation

  • All bookings are confirmed only after receiving a written confirmation (via email or WhatsApp) from the client and an advance payment of 50% (or as advised by our reservation team) of the total package cost within 2 days of booking.
  • The next 25% of the payment must be made 10 days prior to the commencement of the trip.
  • The final 25% of the payment must be completed on the day of arrival in Andaman.
  • Once the booking is confirmed, travel vouchers with trip details and hotel reservations will be issued. Any subsequent changes will be informed to the client in advance.
  • Clients may reconfirm their hotel reservations directly with the hotel after receiving confirmation from our team.

Note:
For December and January bookings (peak season), 100% advance payment is required at the time of booking.

Check-In / Check-Out Policy

Most hotels in Andaman (Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil Island) follow a 08:00 AM Check-In and Check-Out policy.

  • Early Check-In / Late Check-Out is subject to room availability.
  • Some hotels may charge an additional fee for early arrival or late departure.
  • Guests requiring special arrangements should email us at info@andamandiscover.com after completing their booking.

Booking Process

  • Inquiry & Quotation:
  • Upon receiving your inquiry, our team will share a detailed itinerary and package quotation.
  • Advance Payment:
  • Pay 50% to 70% of the total package cost as advised.
  • Share the transaction details to confirm your booking.
  • Provide ID Proof:
  • Submit government-authorized photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, etc.) for all travelers.
  • These are required for ferry bookings and forest permits.
  • Share Flight Details:
  • Provide your arrival and departure flight details to finalize the itinerary.
  • Traveler Information:
  • Submit full name, age, and gender of all travelers.
  • Final Payment:
  • The remaining amount (balance 50%) should be paid two days before arrival or in cash upon arrival in Andaman, before services commence.

Payment Methods

All bookings are confirmed only after full payment is received.

Accepted Payment Modes:

  • Online Bank Transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS)
  • UPI / Cash (up to ₹2,00,000 per booking, with PAN card)

Important Notes:

  • Cheques are not accepted.
  • Payments made to any other account will not be considered valid.
  • Cash transactions beyond ₹2,00,000 are not permitted.

Cancellation Policy

If a guest cancels or cannot travel due to personal reasons, the following charges will apply:

Cancellation Period (Before Arrival)Deduction / Charges15 days or less | 100% (No Refund)

21 to 30 days | 25% of Total Package Cost
More than 30 days | Full Refund (after deducting cancellation charges)

Additional Terms:

  • ₹2,500 per person is charged for cancellations after advance payment.
  • Bookings once made cannot be rescheduled.
  • For hotels like SeaShell, Coral Reef, Barefoot, Munjoh, Taj, cancellation/rescheduling is subject to the hotel’s policy.
  • 100% cancellation applies for bookings between December 15 – January 15 (peak season).
  • Refunds are processed within 5 working days of cancellation.

Third-Party & Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must comply with all terms of hotels, cruises, and transport operators.
  • Original photo ID with address proof must be shown at hotels and jetties.
  • Guests are expected to be punctual for transfers and cruises; delays may lead to missed services, for which the company bears no responsibility.

Right to Refuse Service

Andaman Discover reserves the right to deny service in cases of:

  • Misbehavior or harassment
  • Suspicion of contagious illness
  • Criminal background or unlawful activities
  • Misconduct with staff

No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Force Majeure Clause

In case of events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, etc.):

  • Guests will be notified immediately.
  • Refunds or rescheduling will be processed after applicable deductions.
  • Any additional services used during such events will be chargeable.

Liability & Indemnity

  • The company is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to valuables.
  • Guests are responsible for damages caused by their negligence.
  • The company is not responsible for injuries during third-party activities (e.g., scuba diving, snorkeling).
  • Guests agree to indemnify the company against any claims arising from third-party services.

Data Privacy

  • Personal data collected is used solely for service delivery.
  • While we take utmost care to protect your data, Andaman Discover is not liable for data theft due to unforeseen technical breaches.

Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

  • All disputes must first be resolved amicably within 7 days.
  • Unresolved disputes will go to arbitration in Port Blair, under ICC rules.
  • Exclusive jurisdiction: Courts of Andaman & Nicobar Islands only.

Consumer Protection & Legal Rights

  • Clients waive the right to file complaints outside Andaman & Nicobar jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
  • The company reserves the right to claim up to ₹2,00,000 as damages for false or defamatory complaints.
  • Andaman Discover may pursue legal action for defamatory remarks on social media or online platforms.

Policy Amendments

The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the above policies.
